Hello, my name is TJ. I grew up in Edmonton and moved to Calgary when I was eight years old. For most of my life, things were pretty normal—I didn’t really think about God, the afterlife, or what sin is. I went to church and often heard that God loves me, but I never really understood the gospel.

That changed when my older cousin Kurt shared with me what Jesus did on the cross. He explained what sin is and that heaven is a gift from God, not something we can earn. This made me reflect on my life and realize that I am a sinner in need of a Savior.

Since then, I’ve come to believe in Jesus and desire to follow Him. I long to grow in my faith and commit to walking with Him for the rest of my life.

What a wonderful thing it is to see God redeeming families through the testimonies of their close relatives. How beautiful to see a young man’s heart so open to receive the Good News of Christ’s unending love. 💕

“How beautiful upon the mountains

Are the feet of him who brings good news,

Who proclaims peace,

Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation…” Isaiah 52:7
