Missions and Church Planting
At Knox Baptist Church, we are committed to supporting church planting both in Canada and around the world, because we believe the local church is God's primary means of making disciples and spreading the gospel. As part of that mission, we prayerfully and financially support several missionaries and church planters who are laboring to establish gospel-centered churches in unreached or underserved areas. Missionary - Japan
Mark Schroeder
2022 was the start of a desire in Mark Schroeder to serve the church in Japan. He began to train for international missions through Trails Church in 2023. Mark is eagerly looking forward to joining the church in Japan to see healthy churches and mature disciples raised up in a largely unreached place.

Please pray with us:

Pray that financial supporters would come alongside Mark in monthly support.

Pray for endurance while he prepares to go as he continues to work full-time.

Pray he would increase in Wisdom and Holiness. That he would be hospitable, eager to love those around him.

Pray that the Lord would give him grace to learn Japanese.

Pray he would find favour in his local community.

Pray that the local Japanese church would grow in zeal for the Lord and his word.
