Revival or Ruin: Can Christ Save Canada?

“Can Christ save Canada?” I have asked myself this question a hundred times. Will Christ revive this nation, or will we sink deeper into His judgment?
I’m not speaking here only of individual salvation. This is about God raising up a generation willing to see this nation live under the reign of Christ once again. Imagine it: rulers governing by God’s standards of good and evil, families and schools teaching His truth and beauty, marriages and homes ordered by His design, churches marked by pure worship and faithful preaching, businesses guided by justice and integrity.
Some will scoff and say this is utopia, that such renewal will only come when Christ returns. But that’s the disconnect. True revival doesn’t touch “spiritual life” alone; it transforms everything. It is not just personal piety, but cultural transformation. No, it will not be perfect until Christ returns. But does that mean it cannot be very good here and now? True revival has always meant cultural renewal as well as personal awakening.
But here’s the hard truth: we are one step behind revival. Before praying that Christ would save Canada, we must pray that Canadians — especially Christians — would want to be saved. It is true revival or ruin. It is Christ or chaos. There is no neutral path forward.
We cannot ask Christ to save our nation while denying Him His rightful Lordship. It is self-deception to pray for freedom and blessing while insisting on a secular state. The so-called freedom of secularism is a false freedom — a polytheistic freedom that welcomes every idol and only tolerates a Christianity that is silent and compromised. True freedom, with all its blessings, will only come when a nation turns to Christ and is ordered under His rule. Until then, Christianity will remain at odds and at war with the secular state.
So, can Christ save Canada? Yes, He can. And I pray He will. That’s why I have given my life to work, battle, and labour for the renewal this country desperately needs. I invite you to do the same. Because it’s not just our country at stake, but our people, our children, and the generations to come.
May our honour and pleasure be to see Christ reigning over Canada!
