Grace and Peace from God

There is no peace with God apart from faith in Jesus Christ. And without the only fit response to this faith, which is repentance. If you know who you are and what Christ has graciously done for you, you will respond by humbly submitting your life to God and asking him to forgive you of your sin - your rebellion against Him. And God's forgiveness is extended to us by grace alone. There is nothing we could do or present before God to earn his love, compassion and forgiveness.

Satan is a liar, and he lies to those who are not christians that there is no wrath and no judgment to come. And he uses his false prophets to preach "peace, peace" when there is no peace. False churches out there preach a shalom - peace in Hebrew - apart from Christ's atoning work and without preaching on repentance.

On the other side of the coin, satan also lies to believers, making them doubt they have peace with God. And we have a multitude of Christians (maybe that's you) who are always restless, thinking they need to earn or deserve God's love. And they are constantly dreading that they might be under the judgment of God.

"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." - Romans 5:1

If you are in Christ, you have peace with God! If you are in Christ, you have been attracted by the irresistible grace of God.

If you are not in Christ, there is judgment and wrath coming, and God is so gracious that he gives you one more chance to repent and turn to him today.
