Nina Marques - Baptism Testimony

Hi, my name is Nina Marques.

I was born in New Westminster, British Columbia, on August 29, 2018. My parents are Nino and Leticia Marques.

I am growing up in a Christian home. I have been going to church since I was little, and my daddy has been encouraging me to follow Jesus since I was four. My daddy and mommy have both been sharing the gospel with me. We also do family worship together, and mommy reads devotionals to us. I read the Bible and my own devotional, too.

I have also been learning in Sunday school, and I realized that I have sinned and that I need a Saviour. I have had many struggles, doubts, and sins, but now I know that Jesus lived a perfect life and died on the cross and paid for my sins, and my life has changed a lot.

Now I am much happier, more obedient, and more active. Before I made this choice, I felt like I was not fully happy. I want to be baptized because I want to be part of God’s family. I want to be more obedient, and I want to obey God’s commands.

Thank you, God, for making the whole world. I want to live for You, and thank You for Your kindness.
